Otome Game

When I first saw the news about Hakuoki, the first thing I looked for was the Seiyuu list~ and I was surprised to see Yusa Kouji in the cast, which made me very happy~ and it just made my decision to get the limited edition easier~

I was debating if I should play Sanosuke’s route first or Heisuke~ because I like both characters~ but somehow I am more interested in Sanosuke’s story at that time~ so here we go~

Sanosuke is the only main character that didn’t became rasetsu, and from what I know, his route only has good ending~

After Okita Souji~~ next up is Saito Hajime~~~~

Actually I didn’t really like Hajime in the beginning cuz he’s too cool..doesn’t talk much.
In the normal ending, when Chizuru is thinking about all the Shinsengumi members, she said something like, “Hajime-san…doesn’t say much but cares about others more than anyone”.

his voice is by Toriumi-san~~~ which awesome~ >o<
as the story goes on, I started to like this character.

during his second or third time where he needs to drink blood, there was a cute event XDD
talk about it in the spoiler part~

the most upsetting part of Hajime-san that makes me just want to cry appears not in his own story XD but in Hijikata Toshizo’s story
talk about that in Hijikata’s part.

The first route I play is Soji’s story~
I really like the character design for Okita Soji in this game~ different from the usual weak and pretty boy(XD?). Actually the first time I saw the design on the official website, I thought Saito-san’s design was for Okita~ XD anyways~
The design for Okita is just perfect this time (sorry I kept repeating the same thing)~ other than the look of the character~ the seiyuu being the awesome Morikubou-san is great! >o< (he is the seiyuu for Shikamaru in Naruto)~~ also the Soji in Hakuoki likes to make fun of Chizuru and scare her~ XDD even though he appears to be a friendly guy in the beginning~ but he can talk about killing Chizuru so she won't let out the secret of Shinsengumi while keeping a nice smile on his face~~ XDDD

I think the visual novel type game made by this company are easy to play (except if you don’t understand Japanese)
because the routes are not too complicated~ just need to choose the right responses~

Hakuoki

I just finished this game the past weekend.
In my opinion, this is a pretty good game if you like the style of visual novel. It’s like Hiiro no Kakera, the only thing you need to do is choose what action to take or what answer to say. No battles like Haruka series and no mini games either~ which is fine by me as long as the story and CG is good.　Personally, I think this game is great! maybe because I like the shinnsenngumi topic very much, and also a lot of the seiyuu that I like is in this game XD

I bought the limited edition which has the booklet of character design sketches (I have no resistance against these) and the drama CD, I’ll talk more about the drama CD later, it is super funny~ XD

I was watching the DVD of the making of Harukanaru ~Maihitoyo~ movie~ the movie’s already out for a while now, but I didn’t have time to watch the making dvd until now. the dvd includes interviews of the voice actors. I like Takahashi-san’s(voice for Inori) hat ^^
What I like the most is it includes a bit of the work progress. This is what attracts me to buy these kinds of dvd or the art books that has character designs and stuff. I like to see the progress of making something~ (including all those PV making videos for Hello Project~ ^^)
