Hakuoki 薄桜鬼

First of all, there’s a Hakuoki event soon, but I didn’t get the ticket…=_= by the time I came to Japan, the tickets were already sold out. So that’s a bummer…and I’m moderately depressed about it since it would be an awesome event with almost all of my favorite seiyuu in there…..I’ll just have to watch it on DVD and hit myself several times in the head for not being able to get the ticket…sigh. But it’s ok I guess, I hope there will be other events in the future that I will have time, money and luck to get the ticket and attend.

Time to review the Hakuoki Zuisouroku 薄桜鬼 illustration book and Otomate CD Book I got yesterday. Don’t have time to listen to the CD book yet, but I will find time this weekend to do it~ ^o^

The cover of the illustration book; the cover has only Kazama this time~ I think the illustration book for Hakuoki before had Hijikata as the cover and this time it’s Kazama; they are the “main” main characters of the game afterall.

Following the previous post about Hijikata and Yamazaki’s Shimabara event, Souji and Saito were my next target XD
but Souji being his usual 腹黒い (Haraguroi/evil-minded XD) self, he wasn’t really surprised or had a big reaction~ so that’s was a bit of a bummer.

Following the prologue, or the first event of remembrance, is the Shimabara event (which is also the second remembrance event 事件想起二). The trigger for Kazama’s first event is in this chapter whereas the others’ are in the previous chapter. The outline of the event is basically Chizuru disguised as a Geisha at Shimabara and tried to get information out of the enemy’s party. During that time, Shimabara was an area or should I say, a special district in Kyoto where all the Geisha “worked”. The geisha back then was not like the geisha these days that just perform dances and entertain guests…so the area was..let’s just say that Heisuke hated like the idea of Chizuru being in Shimabara. XD ps. I guess back then, the men have their meeting at Shimabara…XDD;;

The reactions of some of the members when they saw Chizuru in her geisha look was very funny~ XD
the events are hilarious for most of the characters so I recorded them all with my computer.
too many events so they are separated into different posts.

The first character that I went for was Yamazaki XD
He didn’t get much chance of appearance in the original game compare to Nagagura Shinpachi, so I am glad that he got some events of his own this time.
