Note 2010.04.17 - Recent Hakuoki news and some other otome games

First of all, there’s a Hakuoki event soon, but I didn’t get the ticket…=_= by the time I came to Japan, the tickets were already sold out. So that’s a bummer…and I’m moderately depressed about it since it would be an awesome event with almost all of my favorite seiyuu in there…..I’ll just have to watch it on DVD and hit myself several times in the head for not being able to get the ticket…sigh. But it’s ok I guess, I hope there will be other events in the future that I will have time, money and luck to get the ticket and attend.

[Hakuoki] Zuisouroku Original Illustration Book + Otomate CD Book

Time to review the Hakuoki Zuisouroku 薄桜鬼 illustration book and Otomate CD Book I got yesterday. Don’t have time to listen to the CD book yet, but I will find time this weekend to do it~ ^o^

The cover of the illustration book; the cover has only Kazama this time~ I think the illustration book for Hakuoki before had Hijikata as the cover and this time it’s Kazama; they are the “main” main characters of the game afterall.

I was going to draw all the Hakuoki characters but didn’t have enough time ^^;;; so Hijikata and Saito are still in line art form~~~

Note 2010.02.04 - Chizuru - coloring style

This is an exercise from Pixiv.net~ play with different coloring styles with the same picture

The style on the top row from left to right is -> Line art -> “heavy paint” -> Girl’s game style

bottom row from left to right is -> black only (I did this one wrong, I did a gray scale one ^^;;;) -> Anime style -> water color style

I watched the behind the scene of Avatar the movie. The technology they use is very cool; I’m glad that they decided to capture the performance of the actors and link it with the 3D model instead of animate everything by computer.

as always, I save the best for last, well~ the best for me is Heisuke and Sano~ I know that’s not the best for many people XDD.
The Shimabara event for these three characters are all very nice~~

Some Hakuoki Goods

I was browsing around on the internet~ checking the usual Amazon Japan for any new drama CDs~ and I saw that Hakuoki is releasing another drama CD. YAY~ and the title is called ‘Chizuru Kidnapping Case Book’ (千鶴誘拐事件帳). It’ll be out on 2009/12/23.

other stuff I saw on Animate website is interesting~ of course there are already some weird/fun stuff such as green tea and bath salt kind of stuff. and this time I saw that they are selling this
